About Tim

Tim Laciano (he/him) is a music supervisor, conductor, and music preparation specialist for live performance and recorded media.
He works with producers, composers, designers, and performers to create entertainment experiences that provoke questions, manifest compassion, and inspire wonder.
In addition to his world-class musicianship, Tim’s consistency, empathy, and coolness under pressure have earned him a reputation as a reliable musical leader and admired collaborator.
He toured the country with the Tony Award–winning revivals of Hello, Dolly! and The King and I and has served on the music staff at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Yale Institute for Music Theatre, and College Light Opera Company.
This past season he was nominated for a Jeff Award for his music direction of The King and I at Drury Lane Theatre starring Betsy Morgan and Adam Jacobs. As an accompanist he has appeared in concert with artists including Elena Shaddow, Analisa Leaming, and Nic Rouleau.
Tim has been a contributing score preparer and/or copyist on projects including Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse LIVE, Wonder Woman LIVE, Under the Boardwalk (Paramount Animation), Illusion Island (Disney Interactive), Liaison (Apple TV+), Beyond the Bricks of Brum (BBC Symphony), Polite Society (Working Title Films/Focus Features), The Bricklayer (Screen Media Films), and Hollington Drive (ITV).
During the 2019–2020 academic year, he was the interim director of Princeton University’s Trego Singers and music director advisor for Princeton’s theater program. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and studied conducting at the University of Michigan. He is a proud member of AFM Local 802.
